    The Horse Racing Ireland Student Internship Programme offers students from colleges and universities across the country the opportunity to apply and compete for a number of paid internships.

    The programme, which was launched in 2014, offers you an unrivalled opportunity to be involved in a professional environment while gaining relevant industry experience and enhancing your CV. As a HRI intern you will benefit from mentoring by an experienced professional while developing your practical skills and gaining a competitive edge for when you enter the job market.

    The internships will begin in June and will run to the end of August with each intern asked to complete a weekly learning log. The programme is open to students in any college year of any course. Interns will either be based in the Horse Racing Ireland head office in Newbridge, Co. Kildare or at Leopardstown Racecourse, Foxrock, County Dublin.

    How do I apply?

    Applications for the 2020 internship programme are now open, in order to apply for the programme you must fully complete the application form (which is available to download here, or by clicking the button at the top of this page) and return it along with a copy of your CV to [email protected]. The application form is an editable PDF, if you are using a tablet/ipad/smart phone you will need to save the form to your device before it can be edited, if you are having any issues accessing the form please email [email protected]. The deadline for receipt of applications is Friday the 20th of March 2020.
